My gf is 20y old, I am 30.
She has 142 IQ (officially verified by psychologist), is really cute looking, wants to study medicine and could do so instantly, however she also is suffering from borderline personality disorder and being in groups of 4 people ore more makes her so anxious she runs away. Her arms look like a tiger from a periode of self harm cutting when she was 14-17. I am her first stable relationship, actually her first boyfriend really since she never had anyone before me that she allowed to be close to her.

Personally I have achieved a certain degree of financial indendence and could support her with no effort, maybe I am to lenient with women in general but I just cannot let her go since that would certainly make her explode in some final way and I am already to deep into this chaos.

I dont know man, marriage sounds like something that isnt in my world anymore.

Its not that bad, she doesnt do the on/off shit to me, she was 26 weeks in therapy using Lineham behavioural skills training which she is practicing nearly every day.
The social and anxiety disorder components are tough tho.
