Doubt it given the nature of how he governs. He is very much for letting states 'figure it out' and going from there.

Likewise, he can pursue the route of lighter penalties / routes to redemption in the prison system. It gives him good grace and it's probably self fulfilling to release people from prison that in theory have earned it. While everyone likely has the orange man bad imagery about him he very much likes doing special things like this... and getting credit for it too. If his super bowl ad is any inclination of it, they'll keep it in their back pocket for the campaign trail and probably flip it on Joe.

Have you seen the equity curves for these companies of prior to the current correction we are undergoing? Besides, there hasn't been an uptick in cannabis users. It was all hype. The market had already been carved out way before legalization (see: stoners) and the black market is already cutting into revenue due to a higher quality/lower priced product. Those who hyped or fell for the hype thought that everyone and their 90 year old great grandmother would be consuming legal pot and its derivatives. Far from it.

The only future I see is strict medical use of extracts monopolized by big pharma or smokeless ingestables under a "health supplement" niche.
