18302522 No.18302522 [Reply] [Original]

Discuss any and all cryptoUBI projects not just Idena.

>> No.18302645

>>18302522
Honestly i can’t think of a project suitable for UBI besides Idena

>> No.18302668

>>18302522
>>18302645
Why would any governmental or business entity trust an anonymous team with anything of importance?

>> No.18303275

>>18302668
Idena is not a chink scam project waiting for govermentz kek. Way to miss the point.

>> No.18303675

where can i get idena?

Please stop these shill threads you’re ruining it anon

>> No.18303727

>>18302522
fake shill thread to make Idena look stupid. too easy to spot..

>> No.18304564

>>18303727
There have been many versions of this thread since Idena started getting shilled here dumb dumb.

>not a chink scam
How do you even know where the team is from, if they refuse to reveal their location, number of people, and their identities?

>> No.18304671

>>18304624
Team is active during US time

>> No.18304679

>>18304624
They release updates and announcements during USA time zones, nothing further is known. They’ve been extremely active in updating the github and new releases, just about one every other day with improvements

>> No.18304704

>>18304671
>>18304679
That implies, but does not prove their origin. Also, you say "they". How do we know, if there is more than one person?

>> No.18304716

>>18303275

It's literally a chink scam, chink

>> No.18304728

>>18304704
Andrew is one of the main admins, it’s been implied he’s not the only person. And the Manifesto page says the devs are a group of likeminded people etc etc

>> No.18304742

>>18304728
Thank you for you reply. There is no concrete evidence at all, but some people are inclined to trust the\is anonymous team. We'll leave it at that.

>> No.18304751

>>18304716
What makes it a scam?

>> No.18304800

>>18304751
Scam might be a harsh word, but the future token usecase is extremely weak, and as of right now, it is completely useless.

An anonymous team should make people weary. Where is the accountability?

Would you be confident enough to invest $20,000 in this particular token today, knowing that there are many more reputable, transparent, and trustworthy project out there?

>> No.18304904

>>18304800
Other projects have done well that are pseudonymous, almost all the privacy coins for instance

>> No.18304932

>>18304904
For ever project that "made it" there are hundreds that did not. Just be careful out there, and don't lose your objectivity.

>> No.18305142

>>18304932
For sure, and the odds are stacked against Idena in the first place. If there wasn’t such active development and it wasn’t novel I unironically wouldn’t be interested in the first place. It’s just too interesting for me to pass up, personally. I’m not viewing it as a quick pnd.

>> No.18305185

>>18304800
what are you talking about, the "team" behind the biggest of them all is also anonymous and called itself satoshi nakamoto. now its worth almost 7000$

>> No.18305200

>>18304932
Thing is Idena is actually the first mover in two different areas of need here. Odds are in it's favor imo. Also it's not some VC scam that needs runway and other gay shit.

I can respect that.

>>18305185
You have cherry picked a project that just happened to work. This is not a constructive argument.

>>18305200
Are they responding to an actual need, or are they creating a need to be responded to?

Tech comes first, utility comes later. It’s been this way since crypto first started. The need is for a trustless consensus that isn’t using traditional PoW or PoS (which both have huge flaws) and the idea for advertising in the Idena chain is pretty interesting, as well as the implementation of UBI (the first of its kind in crypto)

UBI is a need. Everyone is fucking losing their jobs lmao. Also decentralized identity is something all the defi projects are begging for.

Well there's a free market solution. You could technically create enough wealth by having a crypto market where you can mine to pay for stuff. In theory it would render 1st world nations post-scarcity.

>> No.18306290

>>18305955
it's basically the only thing of value to work on right now. I agree. I think the flip puzzle is creative and believe Idena has a bright future.

if you have any invites, I'm looking to join the team

>> No.18306518

What exactly is going to drive the price of Idena to a suitable level that meets UBI needs?

And in order for people to use it as UBI, they'll need to sell it. As someone not using it as UBI, wtf is their incentive to purchase it?

I want to like this coin but the tokenomics and reliance on a market cap astronomically higher than it is now to succeed (their vision is 100mill ppl using it for UBI) make it all questionable.

I've got a 4k bag of DNA and to be honest I'm not really banking on the UBI aspect. I'm hoping someone comes along with a good use for a pool of confirmed humans.

12k baglet and I think both scenarios have a lot of potential. It really is the ultimate cyberpunk coin, qTrade is so fucking based. DNA, VEO and NYZO are going to make a lot of people wealthy
