Why doesn’t anyone copy BTC? Why doesn’t anyone copy ETH? Both are open source and can be “copy pasted” like you said. Do you know what a network effect is anon? Do you know how paramount a network effect is for underlying security? You can copy a source code but you can’t copy network participants, a network is only as secure as the number and reputation of said participants increases. Enterprises could copy the code and establish it all “back door” behind the scenes, but then you undermine the entire premise of using a blockchain because you’re essentially dealing with a legacy data silo. There’s a reason Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, Intel, TaoBao, Google, among others have put their name behind LINK as opposed to stating they will create their own mechanism, it’s not that feasible at this state. Chainlink is 6 years ahead of the oracle problem, with that comes a massive snowball effect of network effects that provide inherent security guarantees.
