Name me a single worse kind of tax. It should be unconstitutional in any country that considers itself capitalist.

Income tax is worse.

You will never convince liberals to get rid of capital gains. You are basically saying that only poor people should pay taxes. The better sell is to get rid of income tax. It does not make sense for a capitalist economy to punish people for stimulating the economy. It just makes no sense.

I understand your frustration. However, capital gains does kind of make sense. If you live in a society that is productive, and your assets go up in value, you should give back to the society that has allowed your assets to grow. Housing goes up, because the area you live in is desirable. Stocks go up, because there is a society that is allowing for your company to thrive.

However, income tax makes no sense at all. The very fact that you are working, is your contribution to society. The government should not be punishing you, or demanding you give even more. The government should be rewarding productivity as much as possible. This is how you make a country strong.

I'm not saying i love capital gains tax, but if the question is, "what's worse". Clearly the answer is "Income tax".

Income tax is also purely a tax on the working class. Even "le 0.1%" are basically just doctors and professionals in big cities. Billionaires, basically anyone with a net worth of $50m or more, do not pay income taxes. Their gains are capital, and usually guarded by an army of accountants and creative tax avenues.

The fact that any cuts to income taxes are relief for billionaires is a farce and divide and conquer tactics by ACTUALLY RICH people who would like the working class to continue to carry the weight of the system.

Income tax is worse.

Of all the taxes, property tax probably makes the most sense. If you own land that is protected by an army, you should pay a fee to have that army protect your land.

Income tax, however, makes no sense. When you work, you are contributing to society, so why should you have to pay money to contribute to society. Its absolutely bonkers.

Of all the taxes, income tax is the worst.

>>18272483
You're not a proper American if you don't understand how important it is to have confiscatory taxes for the ultra wealthy as it results in dynasties of wealth. The US could easily allow beneficiaries $10M tax-free and that would cover 99% of the population, of which I'm almost certain you in.

Without such an inheritance tax, you get shit like a neverending stream of Bushes, Clintons, Kennedies, and other such trash infecting the halls of power.
