Exxon mobile is practically guaranteed to return to normal trading prices. I made a post about this other day and now after recent news my calls are printing money up 50%. Even at the current premium, 2 year leap calls are still a safe bet. Since a lot of you Biztards were too dumb to make sense of my last post I will make it very easy for you:
> Download robinhood
> Setup options trading
> Search XOM
> Select CALLS
> Scroll to 1/21/2022
> Search for $60 Strike Price
> Current premium as of this post is $2.55
> Select the amount of contracts you'd like to purchase
> Press BUY
Enjoy your free money. Screencap this and thank me later.

I bought WTI calls at 0.30. Now they’re 1.50 today. Did those plebs think oil will be 20 forever?

Hey, OilAnon! I saw your post the other day and took your advice. Up 40% on my calls. Thanks for the awesome write up! I was beginning to loose faith in this board and your last post was a breath of fresh air.
Do you think Fridays meeting will pump the price of oil higher? I guess it doesn’t really matter because I plan on holding my calls until they’re way ITM. Nice to see my portfolio going up in the meantime though!

I thought you mentioned the outcome was uncertain until Trump decided to enforce oil tariffs?

> XOM stock has hit its lowest level since 2004
> Shares are well below their 50- and 200-day moving averages
> The relative strength line remains near a record low.
Delusional bears think: "Muh needs more low!"

>>18248302
Stock price fell rapidly because EXONN was hit with a double whammy: Geopolitical price war on oil between Saudi & Russia & Decreased demand from Corona virus. Despite this, XOM is still not cutting their Dividends. Exxon has even said they plan to grow the dividend, not cut it. Exxon shares are down 51% this year. Its dividend yield is now 10.1%. This is a once in a generation lifetime for Investors to see these kind of Dividend returns.
This is one of the best Risk:Reward available.
Could XOM fall lower? Sure, but not by much.
Could XOM go higher? It certainly will. The only question is "when?"
Leap calls are a safe bet. These prices won't last longer. Corona won't have anywhere near the same impact in 2022, and people will be driving around and traveling to work and other places the way they used to before this pandemic started. The Saudis and Russians will also reach a resolution by then. It's in both of their best interests. Neither country wants to continue selling Oil at loss, however, large companies like EXONN are prepared to do so for as long as it takes to wipe out their competition. That's why it is also in the worlds best interest for them to reach a resolution, and Trump is drastically trying to mediate between the two to get them to form an agreement sooner than later as smaller US energy companies simply cannot compete against the giants. All signs point to UP. Todays small pump pales in comparison to what we will see within the coming weeks/months.

High possibility that next stimulus bill will bail out US oil companies. That plus tariff will goose the price.

Don't put 6k into options. They're a huge gamble. A normie metaphor; buying a stock is like putting money on red/black at the roulette table. Buying options is like going all in on one of the numbers on the roulette table

learn the difference between selling to open and selling to close. and buying to open, buying to close.

If you buy an option to open, then sell it to close, you have no exposure.

>> No.18250478

>>18250028
You could end up loosing all the money. Basically a "call" option is that you pay a small amount of money to have the right to buy a stock at a certain price at a certain time, regardless of the stocks market value.

You can bet on a stock being a certain price and have the right to buy at that price without actually buying the stock. Very useful if you don't have much money. If you wanted to buy XOM now you can but you have to actually buy it at 40 dollars a share. The option is selling for 2.50 so as long as XOM is worth more than 62.50 on the 1st of January you made money. You could buy 16 shares of XOM for the price of 1 and thus make 16x times the profit by 2022. Problem is if XOM is worth less than 60 you lost 40 dollars.

Is there a happy medium between Robinhood and ThinkorSwim? Robinhood charts are shit, but the buy options are super clear and easy. Think or Swim has awesome chart options, but oh my fucking god just viewing your positions is fucking ugly as shit and the buy window is an elusive beast and also ugly as shit. I feel like I have to re-read everything I am doing in Think or Swim 80 times to make sure I am doing the right thing.

Isn't this mitigated a lot by selling puts and calls? Like as long as you keep the money for the strike price, you are safe on selling put and if you do it on a stock you were comfortable buying at that price, it's not that bad. (Unless it completely fucking tanks and now you are bagholding. But that's a risk you take on buying a stock anyway) If you sell a call, you can buy 100 shares before hand, so if the strike price is hit and you are on the hook for the shares, instead of buying at the market price, you can just hand over the shares you already bought at a lower price. At least that's my understanding. You cap your potential this way, but lessen your risk.

Hello me from two weeks ago.
You are about to lose all six thousand dollars. This is not a joke. You are not going to make money. You are going to lose literally all of it. Please only put in a few hundred. Don't set the expiration date out more than a couple weeks, and sell the option as soon as it turns a profit. Try really hard to not hold it more than a day. Decay will fuck you extremely hard.
Ignore this post at your peril.
