Unlikely.
There's ~30000 DNA minted per day for mining, it's split almost evenly among miners. They're trying to be a UBI coin and their "big dream" is 100 million nodes by 2025. If there's even 1 million nodes in the network and DNA moons to 1000USD, each node will only get 3 bucks per day (plus rewards during validation sessions, but those aren't much higher).

So I'm not sure how it could save "humanity" from anything. But it's a cool project.
