Why don't you just become a software engineer then make 300k a year?

>sell your soul to work for an evil, soulless company as a code monkey most likely living in a crowded, dirty city full of leftards and astronomically high COL that offsets your salary anyway

No

Working on it. What are some important tools to master?

I probably have the brains for it, judging by the good grades I got in introductory weed out courses at a Uni with a top 5 CS program in the country. But I just don’t have the motivation for it. I’ve always seen coding as something you have to enjoy doing on your own time to really excel at it, and I just never had the drive to do that. I never have the drive to do anything, I fucking hate it.

The plan would be to do it for 5 years, while penny pinching like a motherfucker and putting $ into crypto. One of my friends got an Amazon dev Job right out of undergrad. It was fucking 120k/yr starting and he could choose to live anywhere and work remotely. Keep in mind that this kid was a wicked smart/drive CS/CompEng major, but imagine living in some podunk Midwest town for a couple years, saving like 70-80k a year.

It's about building something meaningful loser. Not 'enjoying what i do'.

learn valuable skills, get a job if you need money, bail out and become independent.

Fuck me if I knew about these salaries I would have sold my soul without a doubt. Kids in high school and early in college need to pay attention to this

because i hold 25k links and it will be worth millions in 5 years

Cause surely there is no competition for jobs at these companies. And they probably don't have the best to choose from.

or some 3rd world country, you can save up to 80k from a 100k job i shit you not

>> No.18189039

You're more likely to work as a contractor before you actually work within a big software company lel.

They only pick out talented individuals that distinguish themselves from others. You'll make 100k generously, 300k is being an established name in the company.

Dumb faggot.

I do, my TC is only 180k because I'm bad at it though.

If you are smart or have good habits you'll be fine. If you are mediocre, socially incompetent, and lazy you will struggle.
