Don't go in with an attitude like "this job only pays $X.XX an hour i'm not doing this shit". Unless it's something actually hazardous to your health.

Also make friends. You're way more dispensable if people don't like to be around you.

your better off homeless and you should of been saving money for a waterproof tent, 0 degree sleeping bag and a rucksack. I ate better homeless than I did when I had a job, I would make soup with beef, carrots, potatoes, almost every other night from the 20$ I got from begging on the corner. I walked from walmart out of the forest. Dad died and I got my inheritance which is the house im living in rn along with funds. Fuck society, Fuck people thinking it's okay to work in any position in this meaningless jewish consumerist society. If you support this debt based system you are the problem.

Be on time.
Wash yourself and wear clean clothes.
Don't make excuses.
Ask if you don't know something.
Don't ask out the women.
Be nice, but realise work friends aren't real friends.
Don't let co-workers know anything about you.
Don't buy lunch.

Make budget,
Start saving,
Start looking for something better,
Don't lease a car.
Don't blow your wage on trainers and shit.
Don't buy lunch,

I remember skipping lunch every day, gym every morning, bringing my own fresh coffee and cycling in everyday. I also ran side businesses so I knew I was making more than the managers 2 tiers above me etc... All my co-workers drove hired/loaned cars, blew money on drugs and drink, trainers, cigarettes, festivals, holidays etc...

I was the poor person who skipped lunch and rode a bike. That's why I was there for 6 months, got experience then became contractor. That's why they are still all there and I am comfy AF during corona lockdown.

Going to work is like going to prison. In the first week you have prove to your co-workers that you are not a bitch or someone will make you his bitch.

Starting a fight is always a good option, just be sure you know who the bosses like and don't so you don't fight the wrong drone. Maybe pull a knife on a co-worker during a meeting or something. Improvise, adapt, overcome.

Showing up on time is 99%
Don't buy lunch or pop it can quickly turn into a 200 dollar a month expense
Try to get a gym membership and commit yourself to working out. It gives you something to look forward to.
As far as relationships with coworkers, don't tell them everything, but little trivial "secrets" about yourself can make them feel like the are in the know about you satisfying their curiosity.
If you dont interact with coworkers, they will think that you are gonna shoot up the place. Its best to fill in the gap so they don't make up bullshit about you
Don't get the stockholm syndrome. Figure out a path you want to take and set milestones for yourself at 6 months 2 years so on. If you have a supervisor you can start to communicate up front your intentions if you wish to stay at the company.
