Hey guys so I fucked up and went all in on crypto with credit card debt and loans. Now I am way fucking underwater and I want to settle with the creditors with what I can pay. I don't care about fucking up my credit too bad but I lost everything due to the corona virus and I can't pay shit. I got 4 credit cards, 1 loan, and overwhelming student loan debts. Do I just let this run over to collections? I don't want this to become a bankruptcy thing where they take my car or something but I want them to charge it off. Any tips? American, of course.

I graduated owing about $48,000 (bachelor's and master's). I started paying in November 2017 and am down to $31,000 now. Hoping to be done by December 2022. I've gotten more aggressive with my payments.

How likely do you think it is that student loan debt will be cancelled? I have $70,000 saved and could obviously pay it all of, but I would be really pissed if I did that, only for students loans to be cancelled.

no, actually, it's not retarded at all. the only debt the OP actually needs to worry about is the student loan debt - that shit doesn't go away.

for all the other debt see the sam hyde video linked a few posts back; none of it matters at all and it's easy as fuck to make it go away without any downside at all. OP made a big dick play going into debt to fuck over lenders and if he plays this right he will have made money for NOTHING at the end of the day because the creditors don't give a fuck. They GET the money for NOTHING.

If you're still here OP, for the student loan I suggest you get a government or nonprofit job and just make the minimum payment for a few years until they erase your debt. look into it.
