>no longer has to suffer grueling hours of misfortune, escaping the wagecuck slave cycle
>gives fellow wagecucks affordable housing alternatives far cheaper than actually owning a home while having more liberties and larger size than an apartment

So why don't you?

since when has this ever been true?
if it wasn't for landlords, we'd have affordable housing because most of them actively lobby against anything that will depreciate the value of their assets.

reality

>inherit property from parents or use inheritance from parents to buy property
>subdivide units of property into smaller units that are barely livable
>only rent the units to younger people because those people typically live only a few years in the apartment due to eventual relationship break up or loss of job or graduation from college
>always trying to find a legal reason to kick you out if you live there too long
>always raise rent to the highest amount possible under law every year

Homelessness is not a real option, most people will die without a roof.

Supermarkets provide food for a somewhat reasonable price. They would be scummy too if they hoarded food and sold it to desperate people for a huge profit.

Boomers have done exactly that, theyve hoarded houses. Now buying or renting a house is retardedly expensive.

Just think what would be the reaction if i decided to buy all food in the country and then sell is at 10x the price, whoever has a problem can go hunt his own food.

Just accept that you are scum and should be killed and eaten

the feel entitled to increase rents to the point that renters don't have expendable income or income to save for a future house.
meanwhile they join HOAs and other REI groups that lobby against increased housing stock.
In this instance, usually the only type of housing that is allowed to be constructed are "luxury units" with low density, frivolous amenities like a wet bar or spa, but in turn "gentrify" the neighborhood and increase property values.
Meanwhile, they leverage their existing properties to allow them access to other investments, in the event of a downturn, they have hard assets under their belt they can offer as collateral and scoop up assets when they're on sale.

there's plenty of other ways, but it's not hard.
just use your imagination instead of being a useful idiot to an ideology that continues to fuck you.

>works hard his whole life to finally afford his own land
Usually they're born rich and inherit their wealth or they're old enough to own real estate they bought for peanuts before the great hoarding started
>builds lovely homes atop that land, including his own
They really don't, Landlord is rarely a developer or works with a developer.
>gives fellow wagecucks affordable housing alternatives far cheaper than actually owning a home while having more liberties and larger size than an apartment
It's not affordable anymore, mass migration saw to that tho, so not their fault at least.
>is willing to give you extra time within reason to pay your rent if you're a bit short on cash
Most will evict if you can't manage to pay on time every month, at least in the UK.
>maintains the stability of your rented home at little extra charge

>keeps black mold out of your windpipes

I honestly don't know how it works in America, but from a Brit perspective, your post is absolutely hilarious.

Landlord
Born to a wealthy family.
Expects money for doing nothing.
Buys property with huge low intrest loan.
Pays peanuts for people to do the maintenance.
Wage cucks pay half of income for overpriced shitbox.
So nice to be so superior to peasants.

even worse, in a free market with a liberal political system, the people owning the property will have increased sway over the policies a government enacts.

It is some landlords that give them a bad name by not fulfilling their end of the bargain and ensuring that the house is safe and maintained and overfilling houses.

I used to volunteer for a charity called Citizen's Advice which does a range of advice on consumer issues, debt and housing so I have an understanding of the kind of issues that can affect this.

A lot of the time, the service users had other issues which led to the accruing of rent arrears including but not limited to:
>Physical disability
>Mental health- depression, addiction
>Change in circumstances (particularly for people on insecure incomes)
>Financial: assorted debts (which to prioritise) lacking the ability to pay
>Education: one client was functionally illiterate
