I ordered mountain bike pedals from a store that is five minutes drive from my house. I looked at their corona chan guidelines and it's too much. They say a staff member will greet you at the (locked) front door and provide hand sanitizer for you. Said staff member will then hang around with you entire time. Too much! Too much hazmat procedure for me. What if I go in store and decide not to buy anything? I would feel like a goof and they would be mad at me probably. Send my pedals in the mail thanks that will be fine.

The bike build I start four years ago will be completed! Pic related is frame although mine is orange.

Normies and retards have been conditioned by the status quo of news items being forgotten after 1-2 weeks and being replaced by the next 'big story', never to be spoken of again. They don't have the attention span to even begin to imagine how something like this could linger in their lives for any longer than that.

This virus shit isn't going away. Retards seem to think that because china has no new infections, that it means they've solved the problem. Similarly, other retards seem to think that china must be faking their numbers, because it's impossible that they could have no new infections. This is because retards don't understand how exponential functions work. When the exponent <1, the function approaches 0 very rapidly, just as rapidly as it explodes to infinity when the exponent is >1. China have imposed draconian restrictions on movement that have reduced the R0 to less than 1, and held it there for a long enough period of time that they've effectively halted the spread of the virus. As soon as these restrictions are lifted, the virus will pick up again and begin to spread exponentially once more, and the govt will have to step in and impose restrictions again. On and on this will repeat.

We will be going into and out of lockdown for the next ~6 months at least, until 40-50% of the population have been infected and have immunity, or a vaccine is developed and mass produced, whichever comes first. This is our life now, this shit isn't going away, it's absolutely going to plunge us into a global recession, and don't let deluded bulltards like this guy convince you otherwise.

at this point both apple and amazn have enough cash to buy a large stake in boeing as well as take over an entire airliner. strong companies can do a lot here but they don't want to because they know this is controlled demolition, and want to leave it up to the gov to bailout. all these rich fags are suddenly quiet. where is mike bloomberg with his donations in helping his home state of NY? amazon and apple CEOs can donate to their favorite 3rd world charities but when it comes to helping actual americans they're silent.

some of you reveal your newfaggotry if you think this decline will end after 4-6 weeks. this downtrend will last at least 3-4 years. of course there will be mini-pumps along the way. look how volatile everything has gotten. we're in for a very bumpy ride and it's just starting. the only reason dems are cooperating with trump now is because they don't want to risk *not* cooperating with trump. the panic has gotten out of hand and they are scared. they know many people are on trump's side. they know that when the rule of law breaks down, it will be dems who are targeted first by the mob. for some reason, politicians can't just fuck off to their bunkers just yet. which leads me to believe that goyrona is fake, or it's not as contagious as it was made out to be.

another piece of evidence that goyrona is fake:
all the initial reported cases and deaths were 65+ year olds. then people pointed that out. so they shifted the narrative to say younger people can get it too. and now they are saying even babies and kids have died from it. they want us afraid and panicking, but they also want us shuttered indoors, off the streets.

goyvid-19 completely silenced major protests around the world, including the HK and yellow vest ones in France.

difference between china and france is that china won't run out of cops and military, because chinese cops/mil will value their self-interest above sympathizing with their fellow chink protestors.

with france, shit was starting to get serious as the firefighters went up against the cops, and the military are probably more sympathetic to their fellow french than to macron. it was getting down to the point where fewer cops and mil were willing to go all out against the protesters. there are vids of cops getting btfo by protestors too. thus macron had to hire non-french thugs who wore the black outfits, if you recall, because they were neither cops or military. they looked like tunisian/moroccan muslims. remember that there was also a big push for an EU army. they want an EU army of mixed nationalities to crush nationalist protests. but now with this memeflu, there is no talk of EU army or protests. the fear of getting sick was enough to quiet everyone.

same goes with italy, there was increasing tension between the african migrants and the italian locals. remember all those african NGO boats that were trying to get to italy and spain.

in US, i guess you can say it helps trump because antifa won't assemble, but last i checked antifa was already dying down due to them making themselves look bad. i wish the memeflu was real, and happened at the same time as those women's marches.

The least problem we have is these diversity twats or the /pol/ fags reeeeing about it.

But I agree taht we need reforms or even a revolution and overthrow of the current system of wealth distribution. Bezos alone probably has more wealth than the first 50-60 percentiles of Americans combined. A third of them being indebted down to their ass. That is not healthy and if the system will not get fixed the people will attempt to fix it.

But the stale west is not ready for such a revolution yet. Maybe this will change some minds now. We can only hope.

WRONG.
The optimal leverage for long-term holding of QQQ is roughly 2, while the optimal long-term leverage for holding SPY is a little under 3.
In this uncertainty though, you are correct that there is excessive drawdown; however, even 3X leverage on an index is unlikely to ever see a blow out like XIV's thanks to the circuit breakers.

Didnt sleep tonight so sorry if its not coherent.

>That's true but such is life.
Yeah. But when life is shit the people living in the dumpster will want to the system.
Being a starving serf "was life" and being shot at the age of 6 as a Russian noble "was life" 1 year later by that exact same serf.
Just because both were a fact at that time does not mean these things could not have played out different or none of the two had a right to change the system. Or to complain about these apparently unchangeable facts of life.
>You also can't tell me that a substantial amount of the population is not smart enough to change their profession from being dabbed on to something which is at least average.
An average job still will not give you enough money to own a big house, a car and a family at age 45, where the median wealth is around 90k$. The house alone will cost you that.

Most of the average guys I know in their mid 20s say to me that they will never have children because giving them a sensible life will cost too much. They are IT workers or craftsmen. Average people. None of them married. Not the brightest, but neither am I. Im just an average guy.
Meanwhile the family with an IQ of 60 has 12 children, living in a slum in Leeds. 2 of them dying from OD at the age of 15.

A system that accepts its own failings as a fact of life that it can not change is a stale and shitty system and will inevitably collapse.
Once enough people are dissatisfied with their situation they will seek to change that situation. Or adapt and change the system passively.
Ie. Instead of having children, have none. Instead of working 40 hours at the age of 50 for tuition money only work 20 hours.

The system itself will not profit from that though and adapt or die in the long term.

>It's more of a personality thing than an iq issue.

They basically measure from 1950 or 1928 with the hindsight of the history of the sp/qqq being a massive bullmarket with the occasional bear.
They even say this here:
>Leveraged ETFs can be held long term provided the market has enough return to overcome volatility drag. It usually does.
>It usually does.
It usually does. Usually.
Let's say I'm a dunce and I bought the qqq top in '00. I'd have to wait til '16 to break even. Had I bought a 2x I only break even late Feb 2020 while qqq is up by 100%. The longer it takes to break even the more vol decay adds up.
Would you have bought 3x qqq in 00' you're pretty much fucked. If you don't buy high leveraged etf are great. Termination isn't just the only danger here.

I'll buy more if we break through the lows, and I'm holding onto some puts just in case.

Additionally access to debt in the form of sub-prime mortgages (yes, that old chestnut again) artificially inflates housing prices such that a decent starter home should be only 1-2 years mean salary is more like 5-6 years. Hopefully this market correction will reach into the real estate market as well.

GE will be fine during this virus shit. First the Healthcare and Power divisions are busy as ever cranking out material to aid in the virus fight. Second they are getting 20 billion cash from the sale of GE Biopharma which happens the 31st of this month. Biopharma made up only a small part of just healthcare's revenue, 15%, not the total revenue of GE as a whole. Third once the virus shit is over with, the aviation division will pick back up. All those airlines, boeing, getting that stimulus money, they'll be blowing through it like butter. So GE is safe and will be raking in money like mad on several fronts.

Need to buy more but the store is out of my favorite brand (dunkin donuts). Bastards. But the meat, milk and toilet paper are back, and there isn't any mass panic going on like a week ago.

The majority in here do options, in fact I think the vast majority overall are option trading because people doesn't have that much money and even with a small amount a winning option trade could net you a large profit. Not to mention that stock trading requires good risk management which seems to be hard to learn for a lot of people. In short.. it's basically easier to gamble with options and since most people in here (and WSB) are gambling they go for options, especially in this volatile market

It's not a vaccine it's immunotherapy for treatment, basically targetting the correct immune system response, instead of it flaring out of control destroying your lung tissue leading you to need a respirator. It was already shown to be effective against mice, these are good short term plays because reducing the COOF rate and the ventilator rate are exactly what the hospitals need.

I know its an immunotherapy. I am saying that the real game changers are faster/cheaper tests (to find new cases as well as find those who are now immune who can now go to work) like Abbot's on Friday and therapies to push the boundary of who we can save. The first is offense, the second is defense. Both are needed.
Boomvestors will still only really value the first one that makes the vaccine, which will come out as cases are nearly gone anyway.
