>global fucking pandemic going on right now
>job searching because I need one because I was laid off because of it
>everywhere is in dire need of people
>apply for Aldi's, Kroger's and Walmart
>Aldi's fucking denies me
>Phone interview tomorrow with Kroger's, Walmart hasn't responded

I fucking hate it, I'm 18, I'm available 24/7, I graduated literally last year with a 3.6gpa, and no where will fucking hire me.

You know you can probably make more on unemployment than working at some shitty grocery store part time right?

Feds are kicking 600 dollars in a week for 4 months on top of whatever your state is giving you for unemployment.

If you take a part time job and get laid of again, you likely wont even get unemployment.

lol, I graduated 10 years ago, worked 4 of them, did my own thing the other 6 years. Still get paid. Learn to find the loopholes and shot. Also learn a skill, any skill, plumbing, woodworking, even performing. Fuck this retard boomer system! soon it'll all be gone so we can do our own thing. cheers to that!

NEETs trying to drag everyone else down.
>>18155655
Good on you OP, any work experience is good if you can spin it in a resume. Nothing is worse than admitting you have no experience because you ate ketchup and trendies in your underpants all day.

but you can abuse the system tho! That's why there are loopholes ;)

Aldi's denies most people because they usually have 3 people working an entire store most of the time. Just wait for the other two, Walmart literally takes anyone. I dunno about Kroger's though. Good luck with your interview, anon.

>NEETs trying to drag everyone else down.

Sour grapes mentality. They lack independence and hate people who attempt to achieve independence.

lol I graduated in 2009 during the height of the recession. I was desperate to find a job, literally ANY entry level job. I put in hundreds of applications(not an exaggeration), beat the pavement and tried the "go in and shake the manager's hand" meme. I talked to family friends and friends of family friends to see if anyone was hiring. In the mean time I flipped shit on Ebay and sold Plasma. Like you I was available 24/7 and I was willing to go anywhere/do anything. I tried for months and months until I FINALLY got a fucking part time job unloading trucks at Macys. After I got the job the hiring manager told me he pulled my application for a part-time job unloading trucks out of a stack of 500. He called me in for an interview because he "thought my last name was cool". I got lucky. The worst unemployment got from the 08 crisis was around 10%. The fed predicts we will hit 30% unemployment next month. What I'm saying here is, you're fucked.

You don't qualify for unemployment if you've never worked

I'm about to graduate from college in two months and have nothing lined up. Honestly thinking of joining the military, even if it looks like another war somewhere is inevitable since they'll want to pump up the defense industry.

If you do join the military, make sure to go as an Air Force officer. Get a security clearance and do your four or five years. That security clearance will be your golden ticket.
