It's not really. There is some correlation related to inflated assets. Bitcoin has done well as well as stocks in last decade cause cheap money inflated assets. But the scale is just not even slightly comparable.

Because it isn't real money. It's only worth is in exchanging it for dollars. People are exchanging it for dollars for the same reason they are exchanging stocks for dollars. They want to be able to get into better stocks cheaply.

Crypto will recover more slowly than the stock market by several orders of magnitude.
