The /biz/ sticky sucks. It just tells you not to advertise on this board. So we get the same questions every few days and everybody is sick of answering them.
So now we attempt to make a /biz/ sticky that isn´t shit.

What what would you put in the new sticky?
What links should be included? What information/advice should be on it? What books should be recommended?

Links:

-Investopedia (Investing 101)
http://www.investopedia.com/university/beginner/

-a link to some general info on crypto-currencies
http://www.investopedia.com/terms/c/cryptocurrency.asp

-?

Books:

-investing in one lesson by M. Skousen
-The intelligent Investor by B. Graham (not sure about this one actually. It seems solid, but gets into a lot of details which might be a bit too much for a beginner)
-?

Info:
-the usual stuff about the board rules
-a general shill warning
-?

Also, if someone read one of the books on pic related, could you please give your opinion on whether it`s worth reading?

I read t"he richest man in babylon" an it was useless garbage.
"The intelligent invester" is worth reading, as is "investing in one lesson".

I've compiled my own must read list. Most of it is economic history and contemporary research along with some psychology and other subjects.

The books by Levitt, Kahnemann and Hardford books are really good reads, but they don't really offer much insight on how to invest and make money yourself.

Yeah my list doesn't have any books on hard skills, it mostly just gives insight into some of current world events

Even if this doesn't become the new sticky, I am gonna compile the information in this thread and keep posting it once it's dead. Similar to the /homegrown/ thread on /out/.
