One thing I don't understand, is why you guys don't use (short-/long) factor certificates on the indexes? No knock-out, and you can multiply your winnings by up to x20.

So why options, futures or even that boring sqqq/lqqq?

It's just a certificate like an option, that you can get with a leverage. There's no knockout, it has no endpoint and it has continouus leverage.
Instead of a knockout, it has a adjustment barrier, where the price gets reset.
So for example if you got a 4x long certificate and the price of the underlying asset (e.g. the Dow) goes down 25%, instead of having your certificate worth 0 Dollars, the price gets reset. You'll still lose a lot of money, but it won't go to zero.
I'd recommend not holding a certificate longer than 2 days, maybe 3 max.

In Germoney you can buy them no problem, I would guess, the same goes for the US, too.

keep us posted if you find out who's providing them in the US

Sounds like mini futures. I day trades them here in Sweden last week with great results. Not sure what you mean by price adjustment though. The leverage with mini futures remains constant and is decided upon the purchase of the contract

Are you able to get one from them? Or maybe Morgan Stanley?

By price adjustment I mean, that for example when you have x20 leverage and the price goes more than 4% in the wrong direction, the price of your certificate gets reset.

I made a new thread here
