They had Mardi Gras on Feb 25th with what I would say is decent weather for the Virus.

The increase in cases and number of deaths in New Orleans over the next week will be pretty important data.

What you would look for is evidence that the weather in Orleans worked to suppress the R0 and that exponential spread failed to take hold as you would expect without climate factor.

Yes. Not any specific companies but the fact that these companies cannot sell oil, and if you can't sell then you go out of business. Oil is unique in that consumption is pretty easily tracked, thus all oil companies agree to basically sell at the same price since there is hardly any growth (especially with "green" energy being pushed). But now that all broke down, its a free for all. Whoever makes the cheapest oil, wins.
