Let's see now. Somebody briefs you says this could be a huge event, could be just nothing. Seems sketchy just by watching the news so you sell your stock just in case (hedging). Don't want the public to panic because that just makes things worse, so tell them to remain calm. This is bad in your mind?
The hysteria is the worst part of this whole situation. A new seasonal flu is not the end of the world, but by all means destroy the economy and civilization trying to prevent the sniffles from spreading because that will DEFINITELY save lives in the long run
