Military > MBA

Wtf do I specialize in during my MBA? It's a pretty solid semi-target so I've got options. I seriously don't give a shit which stream I go into. Any extra redpills lying around? Need some advice goys

Which do I avoid for automation?
Is marketing a meme for rich suburban girls?
Will I kill myself in accounting?
Would I be arriving late to the finance/consulting party?

Things that aren't going to get outsourced/automated are operations, quality control, security/safety, and regulatory/legal. Don't know if those are options for you.

Institutional Equity Sales, Investor Relations? More of a people person and these were the only conversations I've had so far

The one thing to know about an MBA is that they are not a functional degree. Their entire value is based on you meeting other MBA students that may have connections.

So, in that sense, it doesn't really matter what you specialize in, you won't gain much knowledge in that area anyway.

Also, because of this, stay away from any online schools. You must have face-to-face interaction to maximize networking.

Finally, don't do an MBA unless you have some type of non-military industry experience.

Pretty much

Agreed. It's a top 25ish school so I feel alright. There's just no jobs open for any non-business degrees these days. I'd rather do a good MBA with no industry experience than rot around a back office for a couple years.
