I live in a 1 story house in a tourist town at least 3 hours away from a major city with a population of 200.

By setting up accounts with brokerages and bringing them in money and myself money. Plus I looked at my network and figured out where on each portion of a regular network there could be slowdowns. I then researched what options I had to increase say wireless connectivity or how to ensure my ethernet port was getting the full speed and went from there.
In the simplest sense I bought gigabit ethernet from my network provider and then replaced the provided wireless router with an actual good one from ubiquiti, then did a spectrum analysis of my house and inserted repeaters in the areas where it was low, tied them all to a fixed ddns setup, some meme magic and an edge router X later and my house has gigabit ethernet speeds even over wireless. Oh, that also involves replacing wireless cards in laptops and the likes.

Anyways today was an ok day in the last 2 hours. Monday is expected to be a bloodbath and so many people are looking to get in on some puts that I have that it is entirely possible that 1 trade alone could net me 20 to 30 thousand dollars.

Which ain't bad in this market for a complete imbecile just trading options.

I'm not perfect or even very tidy. But It gets the job done. I've got the engineer problem of being kind of messy but efficient enough to at least get and keep employment. I would rearrange stuff but I have a friend over so the desk has kind of become communal money making property over the past week. And with each bet that had netted us some cash we have been enjoying it. Doesn't help things that it's basically a small house on a lake rather than a big fancy place.
