I wasn’t on biz 10 years ago but I was on /b/. It’s the only place I’d ever heard of btc and I’d see about a thread a day shilling it, I read into it a bit while it was going for about $1 and thought about getting some but couldn’t be bothered to figure out how.

I left 4chan and didn’t hear about btc again until a coworker mentioned it was going for $4000 in 2017. I immediately bought some and got to ride the 20k wave but I lost it all the following years from inexperience with money and markets.

/biz/ hasn't even existed for 10 years. But yes crypto was pretty much always discussed. but did hit a low point. I remember one time, probably mid or early 2016, making a crypto thread about CLAM coin. and it was the only crypto thread on /biz/ and pretty much everyone just shit talked crypto as being dead. those were dark times of dropshipping threads, resume threads, adsense threads, amazon selling threads, which I knew was all cringe at the time. Then finally I came back in early 2017 and it was all about crypto again and we all got rich

Pre-crypto era bizraeli here. Posted this before but biz used to mostly be people talking different ways to invest and some stock threads here and there. Actual business ideas and shit. I made a shitload of money off some penny stocks shilled here on biz. Like another anon posted there were way less normies here so more quality posts but shitposts were still there obviously it’s 4chan. Most of us who were on then have moved on to some other less normie-tier forums. I decided to come back to biz a few months ago to see what biz has become and was a little disappointed it’s like 99% crypto but whatever if it’s what makes the zoomers money. As always the biz motto lives on indefinitely: buy high sell low.
