Y'all think I should convert some of my LINK into more BTC? Looking more and more likely that we're going to see a complete loss of faith in fiat / traditional assets soon and if so, BTC is going to go on one of those runs that leaves alts in its dust, like during the ETF hype in summer 2018. I'd always intended to peel off bits of my LINK stack as it rises in sats and put them in BTC (this is why I even have 1.5 corns in the first place), but I'm thinking maybe I need to accelerate that plan now. Seems like we'll see $20K bitcoin again long before we see $5.00 LINK again.

No. Btc is being abandoned for defi oriented projects. If you don’t believe that then at least wait until the link/btc chart turns bearish before making your bonehead decision to sell link

there are only 3 scenarios, and the 3rd seems impossible

1) BTC resumes downtrend with rest of traditional assets, makes new lows due to liquidity shock and margin calls across all assets. Alts get clobbered harder than BTC

2) Inflation really starts to set in due to FED QE and ZIRP (possibly NIRP soon) and BTC alongside gold pumps. Alts get outperformed by BTC hard here, BTC is viewed as digital gold in this narrative, alts are centralized ponzi schemes

3) BTC and alts pump together, and a 2017 style speculative bull market returns

how on earth can 3) happen if we are about to go into recession? speculative money to pump alts coming from where exactly? im leaning on scenario 1), but 2) is possible so exposure to some BTC makes sense, but alts make absolutely no sense to me
