China, Europe, and Russia have already been moving towards the One Belt One Road trade route, China uses construction projects to coax third world countries to let them extract resources, etc.
There are a lot of countries that have been looking to move away from USD for a while now.

the US won't return to a gold standard. the entire world would have to, to make it work.

gold is savings. you buy to protect yourself from CB printing fuckery.

the outside bet with gold is that the world undergoes a currency reset. in which case you become nobility. but only if you have at least 100oz.

Right now, as we speak, Russia and Saudi Arabia are either intentionally or unintentionally destroying the US oil industry by selling oil at prices that aren't even profitable for them.
No one in the Federal government has come up with a feasible solution to this.
What makes you think that with the snap of a finger the rest of the world would suddenly care what our government says when we are in an extremely fragile place?

the one road one best was a giant scam.
china was using debt trap diplomacy to steal resources from countries after they couldn't pay off the debt.
china would send their own workers to build power plants, homes and other shit for future chinese while the natives had no wages because they had no jobs.

the world woke up to this and china's plans fell apart. after this corona virus bs everyone is waking up and realizing it's not a good idea to have china making all of your shit when you could be making it domestically, that and the human rights abuse. china is on full damage control sending out their 50 cent army to shill on websites.

the United States does not like that the US Dollar is the world reserve currency.

the US is the only country without a currency of its own, the money is owned by the Federal Reserve a private corporation that sits on its own private piece of land that is immune from United States laws and regulations.

Each $ that is printed the United States has to borrow and pay interest on. the more countries that adopt the $ the more the US has to go into debt, this further devalues the currency creating inflation.

the US will soon return to a gold standard, it has already created the New quantum financial system that the rest of the world will use and it will be a level playing field.
