More like Richard Bear

>Senator Dumped Up to $1.6 Million of Stock After Reassuring Public About Coronavirus Preparedness
>Intelligence Chair Richard Burr’s selloff came around the time he was receiving daily briefings on the health threat.
>Soon after he offered public assurances that the government was ready to battle the coronavirus, the powerful chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, Richard Burr, sold off a significant percentage of his stocks, unloading between $582,029 and $1.56 million of his holdings on Feb. 13 in 29 separate transactions.
>As the head of the intelligence committee, Burr, a North Carolina Republican, has access to the government’s most highly classified information about threats to America’s security. His committee was receiving daily coronavirus briefings around this time, according to a Reuters story.
>A week after Burr’s sales, the stock market began a sharp decline and has lost about 30% since.
>On Thursday, Burr came under fire after NPR obtained a secret recording from Feb. 27, in which the lawmaker gave a VIP group at an exclusive social club a much more dire preview of the economic impact of the coronavirus than what he had told the public.

Started doing shit I didn't want to do but knew I had to, giving up money when I knew a stonk was really a stink, and I actually managed to dig myself out of the hole and come out green. Immigrants do most of the service jobs in the country. The stock market is plunging because Immigrants are out of work, they do some of the most valuable jobs in the country. Immigrants boost our GDP and GDP per capita. High skill immigrants from India and China would do very well especially in a stay-at-home Tech economy like now. They would be able to be given housing from a company and self-quarantine, social distance, and work all at the same time.

We need more immigrants, that's just a fact. At this point, we're not a country, we're an economy, and we need to keep it alive or go down with it.

We'll find out over the next couple trading days. One candle on the daily is not a reversal indicator without confirmation followup days in the form of further upwards movement or a bull flag consolidation with sharp drop in volume. All of this is no-news over the weekend scenario, mind you.

Shorter time frames, the 1hour for instance, are reading bullish at this time.

Poor people spend money if you give them more, they have more things they want to spend money on than money available. Rich people generally spend the same amount even if you give them a little more money. They’re already spending on everything they’ve deemed necessary.
The idea of stimulus is giving people money that they then go out and spend in the economy. If they just put it in their brokerage, savings account, or some T-bills, that doesn’t help the economy much.

We haven't even seen the economic damage from corona and the oil price war yet. This crash has been almost purely based on blind panic, the expectation that bad shit is about to happen, but the herd by definition does not have the capability to accurately predict how bad things are going to be.
Deregulation has set up conditions the same as existed in 2007-08. When the real lockdowns begin, so many businesses will be destroyed and so many people left unemployed that a default plague will erupt to drag the financial sector into another crisis. Oil companies are going to be obliterated by this price war. The big tech companies won't necessarily be crippled as badly as in other sectors, but they've been so overvalued with the 20 year megabubble (2008 was just a hiccup) that the market collapse will tear apart the illusion supporting their insane pricing. Every industry is going to need bailouts after months of economic standstill.
Then there's the matter of the millions that are about to die or be left crippled by organ damage. The unrest that will break out in major cities before the military (or militarized police) crackdowns are implemented, delayed because the political ramifications are something that no puppet politician wants to own. Thousands more will die to violence or disappear from the street into the clutches of the prison-industrial complex. This means demand will not come flooding back on the other side of the outbreak.
The current market crash is just the tip of the iceberg in terms of pricing in the actual economic damage that's coming over the next few months along with the forced abandonment of delusions which have been built up over decades in regards to the economy and fiscal policy.

You're overlooking the American X factor: niggers.
Some of them will go out looting and pillaging for the sport of it. Others will be overcome by desperation because they aren't capable of long term planning and thus will not properly prepare to shelter in place. Of course, still more will have no choice about that desperation because they don't have the money to buy supplies. Unless the establishment is uncharacteristically proactive in flooding inner cities with free resources and a distribution system to get it into the homes of the blacks, those areas will degenerate into Somalia.

Futures is just a general term for trades you agree upon at a later date.

Say you have 2 parties, one believes oil will cost 500$ in a month and the other says it will cost 600$ in a month. Current price is 550$. Both have their reasonings for why the price would go a certain way but they decide upon some sort of contract, a future, where they agree to a price at a certain date. One will be short and one will be long. The short guy believes price decrease, the long guy believes price increase

E-mini futures are a variant of this with no expiration date and possibilty of leverage. Leverage means that there is a multiplicative factor involved, both ways. So for example if leverage is 2 then if the underlying asset, say oil, moves up 2% and I’m long, then my mini future goes up 4%. If it instead goes down 2% my goes down 4%. This leverage changes depending on current price and the price from the original date.

In essence, I am trading leveraged, low fees assets

France is also just at the start of this. Violence isn't going to really ramp up until supplies become scarce and police/medical services are so overwhelmed that they are no longer seen in the ghettos. The lack of medical services will lead to a "we wuz abandoned" sentiment and the lack of police (until the crackdowns start) will signal that the coast is clear.
They're also somewhat better behaved because they're more insulated from American nigger culture and the historical factors such as the CIA using ghettos as playgrounds for all sorts of shit that is part of the reason American nigger culture is so abhorrent.

>The future is drones, AI, augmented reality, and general cyberpunk shenanigans.
Acshully, all of these are due for a major correction because they're super-peak-bubble right now. Perhaps the future is quant bio disciplines (the timeline seems consistent with ML's 2 bubbles pattern).
I agree that AI isn't going anywhere, just that funding for AI will go back down to what its real value is (approximately 1/4-1/10th the current valuation, which isn't too bad).
Drones is an even harder sell and will probably go down a very large amount, because of mixed reaction from people and governments alike, need to setup new regulations in many cases (uber was fucked up enough for most countries that they're still not done deciding what to do with it, same with cryptos).
AR never has and never will lead to anything, it has no future, and no present either, it's 100% memes all the way down. It's videogames without the good parts, analysis without the good part, assistance without the good parts, simulators without the good parts... in a word, it's smartphone v2, except unlike the smartphone which is a pure consoomer scam which marketshare is neither driven by demand nor competition but rather by implicit or even explicit requirement (e.g. almost any job, and every user-facing job, requires not just a phone but a smartphone, and a good one in user-facing roles), it is aimed at specialty markets with huge industries vehemently trying to prevent AR penetration, on top of AR never being capable of reaching the capabilities of the current state of the art tools. And unlike normalfags and their petty needs for a camera, these industries kinda need something DSLR-quality. AR is the most likely to go to 0.

Amazon, facebook, and deepmind are good picks. So are yandex and baidu. All of them work with that tech, and unlike the companies you name, all of them have legitimate scientific output for their work that leads to actual practical advances.
Google is only good as an offpick and probably won't be for too long either. Its output has always been mediocre, improving at the start of hugo larochelle heading google brain (didn't last more than a few months) and when they acquired deepmind.
