You realize this is literally the end of capitalism, right?

We already have a generation - Millennials - who are overwhelmingly socialist thanks to their experience of graduating right into the wake of the GFC.

Now we have zoomers who have been indoctrinated with left-wing anti-capitalist talking points their entire life graduating right into great depression 2.0 with unfathomable student debt and no health cover, all thanks to the free market.

The boomers won't stop it. The numbers have finally turned against them, and besides, many thousands are about to die from the boomer plague.

Nor will the current elites prevent it. Nobody can defend globalism now that the fragility of having just-in-time global supply chains and de facto open borders via free trade agreements have been shown to concentrate power in the hands of authoritarian China and leave the entire world exposed to massive shocks like COVID-19.

The elites were already planning to implement UBI any way. Not out of pragmatism, but out of an understanding that AI will destroy workers, and UBI is the only way elites can think of retaining their power, of, to put it another way, not having the masses rise up and murder them.

We are going back to socialism. A world where private citizens can eventually acquire enough wealth to buy lambos and gulfstreams is not going to exist in 10 years.

It's not. It's just about wealth transfer. Boomers fucked younger generations over and don't want to give up on their wealth, so younger generations will just use some pretext to take it from them, then they will institute the same taxcuts and capitalist goodies boomers did.
