Explain shorting to me like the retard I am please. Say I use 10x leverage on BTC and don't borrow. I set a stop limit at $6300. I set a limit at $6000 I put x amount of BTC up as collateral. When it hits $6300 does it trigger my bet and then I get 10 times x amount BTC once it hits $6000 again?

Forget leverage, what matters is how many contracts you trade. At 6k you need 6k contracts to make 1$ per $1 move.
If you want to short from 6300 to 6000 you need two limit orders. One at 6300 to sell and one on 6000 to reduce only.
Stop is to market sell/buy once the price triggers the set stop price.
