Relax you fucking autists. It's the global economy. The (((United States of America))). It's not allowed to fail. (((They))) are controlling this whole thing. Do some basic research and invest in some "objective winners" people who are guaranteed success over the short-medium term. Amazon. Apple. Google/Alphabet. They are in charge, and not going away. Invest in Establishment companies guaranteed to go up, because they're run by the (((people))) running the whole show.

Discuss.

It's the worst single-day crash since 1987 following the worst pandemic since 1918, with massive lockdowns never implemented in history, coming during a trade war and a massive oil slump. It's fucked beyond measure.

It will take like an 8 year hold to break even assuming a slow and steady recovery without fuckery... I'll never own property, have an anime gf, and will die a virgin but I'll just hodl no big deal bro. Literally selling and killing myself.

Note that I highlighted 150. I think we're going to Dow 15,000 before this is over. We're going to have a U-shaped recovery for the rest of 2020, meaning severely depleted economies and barely starting to recover around Thanksgiving/Christmas time, which will have insane amounts of shopping as companies try to recover by encouraging spending.

OP here, here's another interesting chart. Where do you think we'll be on Jan 1, 2021? I predict 19,000 right where we are now.

Your basic analysis doesn't apply here. Most economists have given up on making forecasts because it's pointless.

An extremely effective retroviral could be discovered tomorrow, reducing mortality to 0.1% and everything would bounce back to normal a month from now. Or the virus could mutate and gain a 30% mortality rate which could mean the collapse of civilization.

The best people suited to make forecasts about this are unironically virologists now. It's out of the hands of economists and policymakers. The Fed tried cutting rates to 0% and it did nothing. The common tools are useless here.

Reminder that the (((United States of America))) has literally always, explicitly, been the flagship of the (((Enlightenment))), it is the Earthly dwelling of God Almighty, and it is objectively 100% guaranteed mastery of the world.

I don't think you understand that a parasitic relationship can physically break the host(The US). Is it really that hard to fathom an economy collapsing when it has happened countless times before to nations that weren't trillions of dollars in debt? Nations that don't give a private central bank a monopoly on currency printing? Do you genuinely believe that we are immune to catastrophe?
