17914364 No.17914364 [Reply] [Original]

The coronavirus is the end of capitalism. We've finally all made it. It's only been roughly 1 month and the US economy has almost buckled under the absence of global trade, The white house is currently considering sending many Americans free money as a last ditch effort to keep the ponzi scheme afloat. It won't last. This is the end of the fiat tax serf system. The virus can be slowed down but it cannot be stopped. This virus will chip away at the economy until it is no more.

I kinda doubt this is the end but it may lead to the USA adopting a system similar to China.

>> No.17914554

You realize that we have stockpiles of resources. We trade with other countries so we have our own to use in case this shit happens. We have our own oil, our own agriculture. Our logistics suck. But we e still have it. And at the end of the day Americans are so fucking fat. They can live from
the food stored in their fat bodies for up to 3-6 months.

Honestly the best thing about this situation is that greedy people will be the first to be checked. That's why it goes against everything rich people have been brainwashing us with. Yeah I love capitalism, and believe heavily in meritocracy. But now all bets are off. You either play nice and contribute some of that hoarded money. Or they're going to destroy you.

The only reason your rich is because you are an alpha that hustles the cash for us and we are the gatherers that help you get more. It's give and take, and if all your doing is standing there, hiding AND taking. Then you will be eaten alive.

If you are rich and/or know any rich people. Let them know, it's time for them to step up to the plate.

this is a retard take at this point for many reasons
within a week, the problems that triggered (not caused) these initial stock plummets will still exist, as businesses stay closed
this level of volatility in the market doesn't magically become permanent certainty because solutions exist. if things really do start getting better economically, it will be a slow crawl upward over the course of years with some significant intermittent dips
there are still economic/non-corona factors that are destroying the stock market, like excessive corporate debt/zombie companies that are bound to collapse, nowhere realistic to go from 0% interest rates, and conventional QE tools being rendered useless

This is your own personal definition of Capitalism.
Definition from wikipedia: Capitalism is an economic system based on the private ownership of the means of production and their operation for profit.Characteristics central to capitalism include private property, capital accumulation, wage labor, voluntary exchange, a price system and competitive markets.

Bailouts are not in contradiction with this definition of Capitalism. It never was. Even before the french revolution, for example, the State tried to save the economy by printing money. You libertarian fantasize a pure ideal past Capitalism were the State never intervened. The thing you don't understand, it's the Capitalists which ask the State to intervene. Capitalism always relied on the State from the beginning. Free markets themselves rely on the State for anti thrust laws, because a truly and completely free market leads to thrusts and monopolies.

After this virus ends so will capitalism.

Every business using dollars will fail. People in Universities will all drop out, banks will never be trusted again, and markets will stay at $0 forever where they belong. Banks will never open their doors again, and people will use USD for its only real purpose TOILET PAPER.

Instead of dollars people will use silver and decentralized- encrypted, blockchain backed crypto currency, and bullets(if necessary) as the only REAL money. Read Ayn Rand, she predicted this already DECADES ago.

An economy that uses dollars, taxes, and banks banks can never last. This virus has proven that.

I've put my life savings in Chainlink at $4.50, someday all my friends are going to feel like idiots for selling for worthless dollars. The light is darkest before dawn, and the day of the real economy has begun.

Capitalism barley survived the great depression, world wars, nuclear weapons, terrorism, and many financial bubbles, but this is the time. This virus was the final straw. Get in now while you can. Buy Crypto and get ready for the revolution.
