does anyone look at this from a totally sociopathic perspective like if you owned the US wouldn't you want to kill off the old 80 year olds anyway to increase productivity in the 'long run'? yes people would panic and grieve for a little while but... it could also be a little shock therapy to the culture which is driving so many people to suicide anyway. i know 0% about economics and finance and curious what someone educated in those fields would have to say in response.
