What's the plan once government's announce gold and silver confiscation? It has happened before and is likely to happen again, especially with the awful decisions the Fed is making.

A brief history: https://goldsilver.com/blog/gold-confiscation-history-myths-and-real-solutions/

Resistance obviously, it's not like people turned in their gold last time, given that pre-1935 coins still exist.

In a way PM miners might be safer, but both seem unlikely to be expropriated at the moment.

Pretty sure they just re-classifed BU to "collectors coins" to avoid handing in ant
It's not even enforceable anyway since larpers will awkwardly drop their spaghetti when the cops show up so they get left alone having been mistaken for being on the spectrum

Well this isn't the first time the fed as printed a shitload of money, they did plenty of QE in 2008 and we still haven't had hyperinflation, so no one really knows what will happen. But if the dollar does become toilet paper, gold/silver/real assets will be the only safe haven.

Reminder SLV/GLD does not guarentee anything. Here's a snippet from the SLV prospectus, for example.

>The amount of silver represented by each Share will decrease over the life of the Trust due to the sales of silver necessary to pay the Sponsor’s Fee and other Trust expenses. Without increases in the price of silver sufficient
to compensate for that decrease, the price of the Shares will also decline and you will lose money on your investment in Shares.

>The liquidation of the Trust may occur at a time when the disposition of the Trust’s silver will result in losses to investors in Shares.

>There may be situations where an Authorized Participant is unable to redeem a Basket. To the extent the value of silver decreases, these delays may result in a decrease in the value of the silver the Authorized Participant will receive when the redemption occurs, as well as a reduction in liquidity for all Shareholders in the secondary market.

I bet there are similar clauses for GLD.

look of Jeffry Snider of Alhambra investments. We basically can't print enough dollars because the world demand for dollars is so strong. The federal reserve is like the federal reserve of the whole world, not just the US like some analysts mistakenly believe

Now we have this academic MMT theory. When this theory starts being repeated by politicians (like AOC already has) and these people start testing out true unlimited use of government power to meddle in the economy, that will be the start of hyperinflation

I'm in gold and btc, but I buy dollar calls whenver there is a small pullback. I'm up thousands of percent already
