Worst time to buy. When you're feeling strong emotions.
Best is to do small incremental buys.
It could drop all the way to 1300 before shooting up in a year

Wait, or drop 10-20% in now max.

There is still a liquidity crisis with shitty collateral no one wants.

Family offices, trusts, high net worth individuals and funds need cash given the ‘everything bear’ market.

Gold always sells off in this situation, see 2008. Where bottom is is not clear, I reckon 1350 lowest, may be in.

When stock volatility settles, it’ll go up.

It will have a monumental run to 4-5k in the next few years.

Thanks for the advice. I'm almost convinced this is the best course of action.

How many barrel of crude oil do you need to run the mining equipment to mine a ounce of gold? If oil goes down, gold is going down with it.

Once again gold proves itself to be the king of assets. Still holding strong at $1500 when many other asset classes are down much more. Silver on the other hand is once again proving it's the shitcoin of precious metals.

Don't buy gold.

Number one usage of gold is JEWELLERY

And less people will buy jewellery during a time like now.

Yet Jewelry is one of, if not the highest, selling categories online for markets like Ebay, Etsy, and Mercari. Jewlery always demands a premium. It's a great investment. When the dollar can't be trusted, precious metals are a tangible normie asset, unlike stocks, crypto, and, yes, oil (unless you physically own it). Land is difficult to sell. Metal is small enough to carry around with you if you need to move. Easier to defend, and to trade behind the eye of uncle sam. Goberment gets in the way of inheritance from family by ass fucking with taxes. Metals can be passed to kiddos without having the pot pried from if you're smart about it.

...or hoard weapons

So I don't think gold is going to go much higher and could potentially go under $1000 if shills can't convince enough people that owning a shiny coin is more important than having toilet paper.

>>17874517
Keep COPING

That is a NECESSARY usage for oil.

The only necessary usage for gold is TECHNOLOGY which is also the LOWEST usage.

I started buying 5k of gold every week in 2019. When the potential war with Iran happened gold spiked. Then it spiked again as stock market started to crash. I thought I was a genius making money while stock holders were getting rekt. Then gold fell 10% and all my gains got wiped out. At least I'm only a little in the red compared to stock holders but fuck, I should've just shorted the market instead.

It’s dumping but all stock is disappearing and still selling higher then spot price because high demand.

Very likely it will pump but I am guessing it’s going to continue to dump with the markets until a recovery and then moon. Maybe 2-3 years from now it’ll be worth 2-3 times as much as current price.

I’d DCA a little in now and continue every couple months. You’ll never invest at the bottom. Unless you have inside knowledge but unfortunately unless you are of a certain tribe you won’t ever get access to insider knowledge

Stock is low for a lot of physical gold products, even kg bars are out on APMEX, which has the most liquid inventory out of all dealers IMO. 80k won't help when gold is sold out everywhere.

https://www.apmex.com/category/19490/1-kilo-gold-bars

On the other hand if you want to buy paper gold aka ETFs, I would highly not suggest it but do DCA if you must go in.
