If DeFi survives this week - ie. as long as lenders in compound, dydx, and dai holders don't lose anything - ethereum becomes the biggest winner of this crash, confirming DeFi as a decentralized safe haven for wealth.
Anytime someone asks how risky it is, he could be pointed to the current crashes and told no person storing wealth lost anything.
