I fucking hate coding solidity but even i know about gas spikes. It was a inside job. The default keeper on github that bids on the lots was set to max gas 100. Someone who knows dev modified his keeper and then he spend thousands of $$ to spike gas so none of the other keepers could bid when everything started failing.

It was a fucking inside job no doubt and its Makers fault for not auditing its code. Even fucking Vitalik has been auditing the shit out of everything since Parity Multi sig but apparently the Maker thinks its smart to trust unpaid devs with Millions of $$$

they guy who spiked gas and kicked the other keepers probably knew about this for a long time he only just did this now due to the price dropping like a rock and fomo'ed
