I am not sure, RAD keeps taking hits, though I am nearly certain it will hit at least 6.25 as the deal deadline nears (end of July 2017). You can buy now, but it is so unstable as it seemingly levels off, then falls again week after week. I would wait just to see if you can get it at another dip. The money that's still in PIP is from people with confidence that it will bounce back and is still underpriced.

Once big buys come in to pick up cheap PIP shares and volume attracts, we will start making money again.

Technically it can depend on how much of your initial positions you sell each time.
If you buy 50, buy 50 more, then sell 25 and sell 25 again, that should only be one day trade, because there's only one position being sold off- the second 50 wasn't touched.
On the other hand, if you buy 15 shares, buy 15 more, and then sell 20, that's two day trades, because you sold from two different buy positions- one fully and one partially.
So the rule is that you can sell as much as you want, but every time you sell from a different 'buy' from earlier in the day, that's a distinct day trade. Keep PDT protection on and don't rely on this rule.
