Heh lol. I got liquidated on deribit too. “Only” 2 btc but is still a bitter pill to swallow.

Was an interesting situation. I was feeling saucy and thought I would try to catch a falling knife at 5400 and right when the order filled it started dumping, and dumped so hard that the Deribit price went hundreds of dollars below index price, and the system didn’t let me manually close the position since the orderbook was trading far below my liquidation price. I could only stare at the screen while all this happened. never seen anything like it.

Got liquidated at 3900. Feels badman. I didn’t even consider it a possibility that it could dump that much.

12 btc is a ton. Sorry for your loss but know that you’re not the only one hurting. When btc dumps down to 2 or 3k I plan on buying another two btc on spot and sending it to a different exchange. Maybe FTX or Bybit or something. Deribit is as bad as Bitmex at crisis management.
