for unknown reasons. someone or some enterprise has dumped their holdings. We have had the highest volume pretty much ever on fiat exchanges. EVER.

Probably Plustoken scammers just market selling everything and getting it over with. They had 1% of the supply.

this wasn't the plan. 1k was on the books but not at this speed. With the news of the coronavirus it was obvious that the retailer was not going to throw his $500 lunch money or gamble at Bitmex Casino so they killed the market for once. its insane they dont want to lose any money

yeah this absolute extreme selloff makes me think this is all manipulated. I even internally predicted btc might touch 5k throughout this but never thought it would lose over 40% of value in one single trading day. It's insane, someone dumped at shit ton of BTC at 6am central time, and then has been dumping another shit ton at 6pm central time. It's obviously coordinated dumping. The only question is if they have dumped everything or if there is more dumping to come.

I'm fairly confident we are at the bottom. I saw numerous large buys in the 4700 and 4800 range (trades over 30 btc on gdax/coinbase)

why wouldn't it?
most people holding it at this point are the same mindless speculators holding everything else, and they're selling everything
Bitcoin will slowly and surely build its value from actual utility until the network effect explodes, just like what would have happened with BTC when it reached $20k if it hadn't been rendered a dysfunctional shitcoin

BSV will have shitcoin status until CSW is proven Satoj in court and even then it'll take big companies adopting it. Price wise it's a complete shitcoin and I'm all in BSV (I have time, the fundamentals are all that matters over the next 3-5 years) but it's just how it is.

btc is a manipulated market. whales set entry and exit points for themselves and let bagholders like you get duped into their game. however coronavirus was a black swan event and they cant afford to wait any longer while the price action dries up so they dumped their stacks on you right away as opposed to waiting for a higher price. they will buy back in much lower, then use you for bagholding back to 8k and dump on you again, repeat to infinity until btc reaches $0
