I got money saved up, learned my lesson from 08. What do I buy on the cheap? Crypto or a specific stock? I think tomorrow will be the time to buy up. Also, the virus will spread more, but we'll all live, it will just create more panic for Costco toilet paper, so based on that, where do I put my money? Bitcoin is so fucking cheap, seems like an easy way to double my money.

I'm honestly staying away from crypto. Just got my fiat ready to buy blue chip stocks after they crash by another 70%.

A 20% drop isn't a crash. People still have jobs and houses still have value. You'll know when you see the crash.

I have $10,000 cash, but I'm a complete retard. Do I download Robinhood on my phone and just buy shit now that it's cheap?

No. See >>17749486

The expression "buy when there's blood in the streets" doesn't mean "buy when people make a speculative sell surge". It means literally blood all over the streets of your nation. People so broke that they try to steal food regularly and others are defending their stocks with firearms.

Lmao. You dont go all in right now! You buy a little at best. Imagine buying two days after 1929 stock crash started. You'd be bagholding for a long time.

I bought a few hundred dollars worth earlier today to begin dca'ing, not sure how much I'll be
>sticking in per section of time
>section of time being once every week/2 weeks

I'm already down about 5% and that's after buying today! Hopefully I'm smarter about it this time as i intend for this to be long term holds. I was impatient last time and screwed myself over by literally buying high and selling low until I discovered options where I really screwed myself over.

So I don't buy right now, got it. But what do I do to prepare? Like I said, I'm a retard and don't know shit about stocks/investing. Where and how do I become competent so I can take advantage of the situation when it comes?

That was also my second option, I'm tempted to throw half my 401k into them by next week.

People FEEL as if they are, good time to buy. They aren't thinking.

>>17750035
Metals are down and typically a bad investment, but I do have others I know dumping money into them to save their 401ks, but they did this a month ago.

First and foremost, buy guns and ammo. At the end of the day, that my real plan if shit kicks off. Only the strong will survive

The fact that people.are thinking of buying means if this doesn't go away in 2 weeks it will last 6 months. Dont throw your money away.

as others have said, wait with the buying.. we still have a long way to go.
when buying stocks, look at P/E and dividend yield. Be wary of companies that have large debt e.g. Ford, AT&T.

How so? Is it because I'm dumb when it comes to these matters so I wouldn't know how to make the right call?
