I'm just an amateur, I picked stocks that I felt were going to suffer a lot because they were overinflated (AMD) or were gonna get fucked if the economy slows down in general (banks), then bought a series of slightly out of the money options and waited for them to print. I didn't hedge, which was honestly a bad idea and could have gotten fucked pretty bad if it didn't go the other way

I think anyone who didn't short at least 10 - 20% of their savings after Monday was a little bit stupid. Shorting in a time of crisis is basically an insurance policy for the possibility of losing your job in a recession. And unlike State unemployment it won't fuck you over.
