You're not gonna be making jack if you're just playing on a regular account. You need to be botting multiple accounts, which is not fun. Also bot detection has increased significantly, so you will need to pay decent money for good scripts. Another way is to phish high level accounts and use those to make money, since they have the stats to do higher gp/hr methods.

I'm pretty sure the latter option is illegal so I do not personally advocate for it. I hope you find a hustle tho my brudda

lmao no

The same people are in charge of the RS3 economy, and that has had so many disasters that the gold is basically worthless.
Here's a list of a few I know about:

>release a new item that drops every 10 minutes or so from any activity for a limited time (grot souls)
>put a default price for it on the GE
>demand for the item becomes low and price drops proportionally
>people figure out that you can sell the item to the general store for the original recommended price
>group of people make loads of money just buying from GE and selling to general store, jagex eventually disables selling to general store and bans some people who took advantage of it

>update to how clue scrolls work
>a handful of people find an exploit that allows you infinitely get rewards after completing a single clue
>economy is flooded with clue items
>some of the people who took place in it are eventually banned but the price of clue items never fully recovers

or recently
>new mtx promotion with a bunch of new gimmicks
>turns out one of the gimmicks makes you guaranteed to get a super-rare prize
>one of the super rare prizes is just 100m
>ends up introducing LOADS of pure gold into the economy

These are just the ones I can remember too.
Jagex cannot handle an economy.

No. You can dupe money
It's a java client game, it will see vulns come eventually once again like SEVERAL times it has happened.

It's worth it if your economy is fucking Venezuela tier where you will eat your dog to live another day at green dragons.

I migrated from WoW Classic for exactly this reason. In WoW, the open world is mostly an illusion and you're horned into the same path that everybody else is taking. It was fun for awhile but overall I'm enjoying OSRS a lot more.

Getting back into MMOs was a big mistake though

i started-up again after a 4-5 month MMO break after playing EvE for 2 years.

It is very AFK-able. I can do the dishes, watch TV with my wife, take a shit, shitpost, etc. all while playing the game. Some tasks are more AFK-able than others, but you can basically play it while still having a life.

Not sure how long I'll play it for... Has almost been a month. Prior to that, I last played RS in like 2006 lol.
