How will the new global crisis (corona, new immigrant wave, chinese economy crashing, long overdue global recession, tensions between the political right and left etc.) affect crypto? Would it make sense to compare it to gold or other save havens? Will different coins react differently?

Crypto is an extremely volatile asset that's basically penny stocks for people for whom the dodgiest penny stocks are too safe and boring

In a risk-off environment it'll completely shit the bed as people want to save what they have and not gamble it away

Idk, considering that bitcoin was made amidst the financial crisis of the late 2000s, it may be that this would help the cryptos, also bitcoin was made to fight the centralised financial institutions so maybe this could be also taken into account when considering economic posperity of say chainlink
