Why are they dumping aswell?
Gold is at a multiple year high in $ and at ATH in most other currencies and oil prices are at the bottom
Shouldn't they be mooning? What am I missing?

>Shouldn't they be mooning? What am I missing?
-Can't mine if you're dead.
-The gold nuggets don't teleport to the banks, can't drive the truck/plane/car is transports are down and roads are closed.

Because everything else is dumping. The same people who get liquidated on their FAG companies also hold gold miners which they have to sell in order to cover their positions. This will happen to gold as well, most likely. They'll cover their losses by selling gold. Ofc gold and gold miners are most likely to rally hard later, but they'll dump at first.

stocks are a recurring ponzi scheme perpetuated by people believing that fiat is a reasonable measure (unchanging) of value over time

Markets are driven by fear and greed. All you really need to know right there.
I have 10 % in junior miners.. I’m getting fucked in the ass too. But have 30% physical at least.
Great fucking buying opportunity right now.
Whoever buys and holds in this panic going to make a fortune off the miners.

imagine being a mining company and seeing the price of gas drop to $1 per gallon or less.

DUNDEE? GORO?

Sold them some time ago because I knew they would take a shit with the rest of the economy. When should I buy back in?

Nah I got McEwen, B0nterra , Klondike and a stack of others. Im not great at timing markets. But try and buy when you think fear is peaking. Got to be close now I would think. could easily go 20 - 100 X after that.

Buying GOLD right now

Wouldn't that lower supply thus increasing price?

The miner's stock price, not the price of gold itself. Miners can't take advantage of the higher price if they can't mine due to logistics being fucked and half the workforce being sick.

>> No.17658498

>>17658435
I think the cheap oil price would make up for that, but maybe I'm wrong
The market certainly thinks I am

Oldfag here. Check 2008. First Gold and Silver drop as people try to cover their shorts. Miners drop 80%. After that we will see a Miner, Silver, Gold Bullmarket like in 2009-2011.

Sounds like a good time to start a war. Peak oil probably by 2030.

This isn't the current situation right now though. Logisticks work, more or less, fine and the workforce is fine for now.

Gold logistics here, mines are running extra hard since the price is good right now. We're shipping constantly but the banks we usually sell to have suddenly realized they have no fucking money lmao
Guess that ponzi scheme isnt so great after all

You think gold miners are a buy or do you think they're going to drop even more?
I know you can't be certain and it would be just a guess, but still I'm curious about your opinion

Look at 2008 and what happened with miners.

>Will gold miners go down
Yeah will probably go down some more. Rather than try to time the market you can buy in 1/4 what you want to spend at another small dip and then buy in slowly on a time frame. Its the best way to have medium results. You won't knock it out of the park but you won't miss the ship either.

Depends which mine and where it is. One of my mines is doing Ironman numbers right now and their shareprices are up. Look at Australian mines since the AUD is shit you can get good value now

hopefully everyone who lost in '07-08 learned their lesson because yeah the miners crashed but then rocketed up. Im betting that it will dip less this time around as investors anticipate the sharp bounce up to new all time highs for miners.
