you assholes. biz unironically changed my life. found this place in a deep well of depression and financial stress and ended up switching careers from STEM to finance because I am obsessed with deciphering the enormous game called finance so I can learn this rigged system and find some exploits to beat the game.

somewhere along this path I found out that a non-inflationary value transfer system with no central authority would be extremely valuable to us as a people because everything (((they))) touch is corrupted by an inescapable financial agenda that ebbs and flows and fucks with the lives of all while only consolidating power to the minority wealthy elite. A universal currency that exists virtually in a wallet controlled only by the owner cannot be touched by (((them))) and is a very convenient way of removing your cash from the current financial system parked away from fiat inflation. And once the value stabilizes ($1MM+) it will be a true store of value.

But the real reason why I bought into this shit is because blockchain automates a rudimentary task; tracking the ledger. There are savings to be had just from eliminating that task on it's own.

because the concept is built on a lie. Gender is a meme

>> No.17636331

>>17636266
This. I've grown up around tom boys, my sister will fuck up most guys, and is still a girl. A close childhood friend is the same, a woman, not at all a pussy, and yet still a girl. One of my best friends is a straight male with 3 kids, and one of the biggest pussies I have ever met that I have no doubt I could nearly kill with a punch. Gender is at best a weird scale not based on biological sex, and at most likely, a meme.

>> No.17636352

>>17636151
To be honest I don't trade too much. The tax bullshit makes me want to move assets as little as possible

I'm just building a web in my brain to try and predict what happens and why does it happen. Like where does the money flow and why is it going there.

For instance the equity market is extremely overbought so it was bound to break down but was kept on life support by the fed giving it QE injections through adding liquidity to the repo markets. Then an epidemic broke out which opened the flood gates and the entire market started tanking. This caused a capital flight from equities to bonds and to an extent PMs as well. Gold has maintained it's value better than the index regardless of the fact it tanked with the rest of the market. with such a large negative impact on manufacturing and shipping the coronas is the perfect excuse the market needed to finally tank and not even interest rate cuts are saving this. The 50 basis point drop in interest got priced in and dumped the following day. Bloomberg is predicting another 50 basis points gone by the end of the year so if you're looking to refinance some debt, give it a few more months cause rates are heading to 0. During the last 2 financial crises (dot com, housing bubble) the federal funds rate dropped 5%, once from 7-2%, another from 5~0%. This year we can only drop from a fed funds rate of 2.5% so either we go to 0% and lose the remainder of the standard stimulus or we're going negative. The fed exhausted it's main tool for propping the market up so they're gonna have to get creative this time. Whats interesting is that all this pressure on bonds is driving the price of bonds up while reducing it's yield since paying higher for a bond lowers % payout. Highly rated debt was only paying out around a 1-2% yield before the rate cut, now we're reducing interest rates and bidding the bonds up, it's going to get to the point where the bonds aren't even generating a positive return for the holder real soon.

I just buy crypto. I'm planning on selling when we start peaking post halvening. BTC will probably hit around $100k. This is for long term capital gains by the way, I don't like day trading and would prefer to reap long term capital gains just for the simplicity of tax reporting

So if you're talking trading strategies, I like to buy something that money will flow to for an extended period of time, hold it, and sell it when the market cycle is complete.

If you're talking swing trading, buy something with fundamental value and pick sell targets

I didn't think I would have to explain the concept of inflation but here we go

> Let the number of USD in circulation be equal to x
> Fed prints x/10 USD and buys treasuries from commercial banks on the open market
> There is now 10% more USD in circulation
> The real value of your savings is now 10% less than it was prior to the Fed printing the extra 1/10x USD

Yes the money initially just goes into bonds but it eventually it spreads into the rest of the economy.
