But seriously, why do you schmucks think you have to be honest in your resumes? If you're able to actually do the job, it doesn't matter if you exaggerate or lie or fake.

I had to awkwardly call up professors that hated me in class, I don't think any of them even answered the phone calls back

For my first accounting job, the entire thing (I taught myself accounting). That was in mid-2017. Present day I'm Assistant Controller. And some moralfag probably lost out on that opportunity because of the truth, lmao

Based, but most people aren't high iq enough to learn on their own, if some random autist from here lies on resume he will just end up looking like a retard his first day and he will eventually get fired, unless he catches up really fast but again one would need to be at least average if not above to do that.

Work in HR in mid-sized pharmaceutical firm. Can verify this. We never ever backcheck resumes. It's too much of a waste of time.

Yeah, I know "how to learn" even if that sounds weird. I knew how all the elements would interconnect and how to make a calculator for one (and how to bridge all the calculators for tasks that are clerical, analytical, etc.). Every time I was assigned a new task, I assured the controller her time wouldn't be wasted if she sat with me a half hour and helped me ingrain that which I'd need to formalize a spreadsheet for the concept, and I just kept perfecting everything and getting new assignments and trust until I became her second hand.

People who rely on their brain-dead professors aren't creative enough to do anything on their own. Sad.

How about you, what job did you land after faking it?

IT, they wanted a uni degree so i said that i did, but i only knew very little but lucky me the people who interview you usually have no knowledge of the field in question.

Nice. People with a strict list of requirements can get fucked when I fake it.
