I want to swing trade but live in the US. Is it safe to create a bitfinex account using a VPN and trade there, keeping some crypto on there. No USD obviously. Is there any risk that they’ll ask for proof of residence or is it optional? What are the chances they shut my account down, and would I be able to withdraw my money if they do? Thanks for your help bros.

Gotcha, I’ve heard bad things so I panicked and pulled out. I just wanted to swing trade PNK, but I guess I’ll have to wait until it gets on a better exchange. Hopefully binance or bitmex
