Do any of you own a home? I'm looking at literal, and i do mean literal, cupboards and sheds for rent in London. Pic is taken from a room-for-rent ad, 800/month for a shed in someone's lounge. I can only imagine that owning a home outright nowadays means life is basically on easy mode? I crave it so much.

Can't you go to like Scandinavia? ESL teachers with English accent are sought after. Northern parts of Sweden really aren't bad in my experience, there are some mid sized towns that are sort of barrier'ed off by a few hours of country side from anywhere near problematic cities.

I can get like 10 acres of waterfront land in Nova Scotia canada for like 50k. The only catch is there's no work anywhere so you're working hand to mouth mostly. Good lifestyle for plenty of honest folks though.

Ok I've decided. My goal in life is to buy land in fuck all nowhere and live there forever. I'm slaving in the city and it's horrible. I already have 50K saved up, but of course I'll need more to actually do stuff with the land. The only tax I'll pay is property, I'll keep my income in the lowest bracket.
