sort of, with tick charts. but tick charts also use volume so it's still useful to use both, i like 512 tick charts a lot or 1600. basically you're looking to see how much weight is behind each green and red candle, you could do that as simply as putting a moving average on volume itself and seeing when there is above-average volume, but there are other things too. chaikin has some good shit that is also free to use.

honestly it's only really important if you're trading particular setups that rely on volume spikes in some form. i like stuff like the chaikin osc because it shows me the momentum of buying and selling pressure, and i throw a hull moving average on that to consider whether it's rising or falling on average, as well as above or below the zero line.

in general i want there to be more volume on the green bars than on the red bars if im going long, so oscillators can help do that.

Just like the last few green days, at some point a rush will infect the markets, eventually ending at a 2% gain from yesterday or about 317, this + COST earnings blowing the fuck out legendarily will drive markets to stop the pullback phase and just go crazy however, there must be a calm down and at about 323 will start a close of 318 and honestly probably a smallish bearish week down about 3%.

TL;DR buy 322 SPY calls at 307-308 and probably make 1000% gains.

I try to set reasonable sell limits now just incase.. If i miss out on some gains it's better than losing out on gains.. sometimes i lose from sleeping in.. but i refuse to not enjoy my life just to trade or to work..
