From what I can grasp here it means you're trading your RSR to maintain stability but not on the open market and still maintaining the value of the RSR you already had. So you're making money to be an arbiter and steady the RSV price.

Imagine there are 1 million tokens and I own half of them. The other holders burn 10% of their tokens... now I own more than half of the supply.
But if I burn 10% of my tokens too, I still own half of the supply even though I went from 500k tokens to 450k. And I made a profit when burning that 10%. I can continue doing this forever, and will always own 50% of the tokens.
There's another level to it though.
Say RSR is trading at $1, and RSV is trading above its peg at $1.10.
You burn $1 worth of RSR (1 RSR) and get 1 RSV (which is worth $1.10).
You sell 1 RSV for $1 worth of RSR and keep $0.10 RSV profit.
Combined with pro rata burning, rebuying your RSR after burning means you will continuously earn revenue you while RSR holdings grow in both absolute and proportionate terms.
Imagine a staking pool where your RSR stake compounds over time AND you get dividends paid in RSV. I'm unironically thinking of building this when RSR hits mainnet.
