Inside source says the liquid retainer funds were siphoned to place a large number of puts on the main indexes, expecting another huge tank. When the indexes mooned this morning they stopped services so nobody would notice their money is missing. They're now scrambling to liquidate other assets in order to get that money back.

Personally, I seriously doubt robinhood even purchases the stocks that people order.
I think it's all an internal paper trading racket, while they take their users money and invest them in smarter bets than the average redditor can make.
They only have to pay out each redditor one at a time, floating the difference.

Robinhood has fucked up so many different things like
>box spread walk away with 30k every 2 years risk free
>personal risk tolerance
>charts and such showing incorrect data

Now literally stopping people from closing trades and options whether they are winning or losing money. Of all times for it to go down, it's during such a time. This screams NOT A COINCIDENCE

I've realized something. Banks and many institutions are becoming more and more brazen at taking your money/locking you out of it/etc. Yet most people just sit there and take it. Maybe yell or rant on the internet but in the end just take it. Wonder what it'll be like in 2050. Probably only the rich and poor, no middle class. The poor will have it like those railroad companies that paid you in their companies exclusive currency and you could only buy stuff from their company store.

Why do you think (regulated and centralized) cryptocurrency is being pushed in the mainstream? In 2050 you'll earn your wage in company shitcoins, exchangable at the commisary for söylent and funko pops.
