What are you all crying about I'm up 7.7% today? Of course I've had a week of daily 1-2% losses, but I actually averaged down, buying more of some stuff on Wednesday. I see it as a risk free gamble. I noticed the price of the options I had gone down after I sold them, I have come to the conclusion that this must be because the implied volatility of APT also went down. How is volatility measured? I know it is a complex equation but says a stock went up 100% in a day, and then down 100%, would there be any change in volatility from the start to the end of the day? This makes sense because fewer people would be buying APT after it tanked by 50%. Please correct me if my understanding is wrong.
