Are these rewards really fucking worth the autism I'm contracting by completing Flips? I'm waiting for Validation as we speak and part of me feels like a retard for making stories out of google images in hopes for receiving a few hundred shekels/wk passive income (which I'm not even sure what mining rewards are/if they're worth it). Can someone who's been validated tell me if it's worth it becoming a Validator and staking or if it's just better accumulating and hodling?

If you validate on the upcoming validation day and start mining 24/7 on a remote node then (considering that the number of days in the next four epochs remain less than 10 days and you successfully pass all the succeeding validations) you could make around 2100 DNA per month (around 32-35 days) or in around 4 epochs if we suppose the network continues to grow at a rate of 20% each epoch...So say if the DNA price is around 10 cents by then (which seems on the lower end considering the current exponential growth in both the network and the price) , then you would have made around $210 per month. Now imagine the rest yourself!

and mining is completing flips or just attending validations? and are validations listed every time with an upcoming date in the client? those are the numbers I needed.. so if mining is by validations, 1 session is $40 @ $0.10/DNA?

Mining is a privilege that you get only after each successful validation that allows you to support the Idena network (as block proposer or validator somewhat like BTC miners) and in return you get mining rewards which are decreasing as network is growing in each epoch. Yes all the tasks are shown on your Idena client including tasks such as making the Flips and showing the exact date and time of next validations. Yes, currently one could earn around $40-50 per each epoch (in around 8-9 days) which is surely not going to last for very long. (1st validation reward + mining rewards for whole epoch = roughly $40). For more info plz. join Idena TG or Discord.
